The Welcome Gallery's Portraits & Services
JULY UPDATE!
We've moved again, and we're finally out of our former studio (near Marshfield's Roche Bros.) That sweet location served us well for about a decade. It's time to try something different, and, as our friend Taylor sings, "Shake it Up!"
MAY 2023 UPDATE!
We're moving our studio to a new location where we will create types of images we didn't even dream of pre-pandemic. I've learned a lot these years. I'm looking forward to reuniting or meeting you there.
The techniques we employ are less important than the experience of documenting part of your life, your dreams, and the goodness you share with the world.
Please contact me if you have a pressing need before we reopen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At some point In 2020 I wrote the piece below. Although we are no longer bound by law and fear, common sense and some protective protocols will be in place as need arises.
This was back then:
We were in the middle of a website update when the pandemic hit. We will continue to work on it as changing priorities allow.
Your health and well-being are paramount to everything going on around you. With illnesses and the passing of loved ones, we are reminded of the important role that photographs have in our lives.
While we are not actively using our studio during this time, we are able to create studio-like headshot (portraits) outdoors. They can be made to look just like indoor headshots.
Per the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we are not seeking any business that would jeopardize the health of our clients or us. However, there are circumstances in which you might have a need for a portrait, restoration or photo edit. If so, please contact us. We created an outdoor portrait recently for someone in law enforcement. You would have known that it wasn't taken in a studio. We can safely and joyfully create others. Yet, until it is safe to do so, we may not straighten your shirt or tie, or fix your stray hair. One lesson learned from this period is how hands-on good portrait photography is. I miss helping my clients. I miss my clients. We miss our clients.
Thanks for stopping by! Please call or message if we can help you in any way.
Please take care of yourself and your loved ones.
Life is precious. Your patronage and friendship are dear to me. A very special thank you to all front line and essential workers.
During our website re-model, older client images and samples are available at our partner website at: The Welcome Gallery – Client Orders
