We each carry stories — of who we are, who or what we love, or what we're building toward. Sometimes we want those stories held in an image: something honest, unhurried, fully ours.

Authentic portraits begin not with a pose, but with presence. I'm a photographer on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and I work with individuals, families, and professionals who want images that look like themselves after a good night's sleep — real, and true to their own spirit.

I'm based in Marshfield with a studio in Rockland, and I'll travel for goodness.* Let's talk about what you're envisioning. Welcome.

In the 1930's, people communicated with telegrams and calling cards. Today, our written words are found on blogs and in texts. This is the journal for Constance Kennedy Photography sprinkled with some local events, clients' accomplishments and stories, and some photo workshop updates.

October 2026 Update

We're settling into the Sandpaper Factory Building in Rockland. Our Grand Opening is coming later this year. Use the contact form to join our mailing list, and you'll be among the first to hear the date, along with celebration details and grand-opening offerings.

The new space gives us — and you — room to breathe. Here, portrait sessions feel less rushed, and the light is so beautifully generous. We've rebranded to Constance Kennedy Photography, though you'll still find us under The Welcome Gallery on the web; both web addresses will get you here.

Our work centers on two things: photography that celebrates you as you are, and Seeing Goodness, a mindfulness practice we facilitate separately. Both start with attention — really seeing the person or moment in front of us. If you're curious about either, we'd love to connect.
